Pantukan, Davao de Oro – A joint drug buy-bust operation on January 11, 2025, at Purok Makugihon, Sitio Mendoza, Barangay Kingking, led to the arrest of three individuals, including a regional priority high-value target. The operation underscores the region’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs.
Alias “William,” identified as a Top 10 High-Value Individual (HVI) in the region, was apprehended alongside two Street Level Individuals (SLI). The coordinated effort involved personnel from the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 11 (RPDEU 11), Pantukan Municipal Police Station (MPS), Provincial Intelligence Unit, 2nd Davao de Oro Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd DDOPPO), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Seized Items
Authorities confiscated several pieces of evidence during the operation, including:
- Heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, valued at a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 108,800.00
- Drug paraphernalia
- One (1) genuine and 33 machine-copied 1000-peso bills
- One (1) black sling bag
- One (1) grey Honda XRM motorcycle
- One (1) black MIO motorcycle
- One (1) REALME android phone
- Two (2) brown pouch bags
Legal Proceedings
The suspects are currently in the custody of the Pantukan Municipal Police Station. Authorities are preparing to file charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, through inquest proceedings.
