PANTUKAN, Davao de Oro — A suspected drug den was dismantled in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Davao de Oro Provincial Office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 11 (PDEA RO11), in coordination with the Pantukan Municipal Police Station, in the early hours of September 19, 2026.
The operation was carried out at around 1:10 a.m. in Purok Margarita, Sunshine Subdivision, Barangay Kingking, Pantukan, Davao de Oro.
Authorities identified the primary target as alias “Boss,” 34, who was allegedly maintaining the drug den. He was arrested after he allegedly handed over and sold one sachet of suspected shabu weighing approximately one gram to a PDEA poseur-buyer.
The confiscated item from the transaction was estimated to have a street value of ₱7,000, based on the information provided by authorities.
Also arrested during the operation were alias “Ralph,” identified as an alleged employee of the drug den, and alias “Yasheer,” who was reportedly present as a visitor at the suspected drug den.
Following the operation, authorities recovered a total of 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 32 grams, with an estimated street value of ₱217,600.
Authorities also confiscated assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money used during the buy-bust operation.
The operation forms part of the continuing anti-illegal drugs campaign of PDEA RO11 and its partner law enforcement agencies, particularly efforts to dismantle suspected drug dens and arrest individuals allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade.
PDEA RO11 Regional Director Atty. Benjamin G. Gaspi emphasized the agency’s continuing coordination with partner agencies in addressing the illegal drug problem and protecting communities from the consequences of drug trafficking and distribution.
The three arrested individuals are set to face charges for alleged violations of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Authorities stressed that the suspects will undergo the appropriate legal proceedings, and the allegations against them will be subject to determination by the proper court.
