Kalilangan, Bukidnon – Law enforcement authorities successfully arrested a high-value individual and a newly identified drug personality in a buy-bust operation conducted in Kalilangan, Bukidnon.
Personnel from the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station, led by PCPT Romeo M. Arcilla Jr., OIC, in collaboration with the Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), 1004th Mobile Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion-10 (RMFB-10), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-10 (PDEA-10), carried out the operation that resulted in the capture of the suspects. The primary target, identified as alias ‘Takoy,’ 43, and his 42-year-old accomplice, were apprehended in possession of illegal drugs.
Authorities confiscated a total of 56.50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of Php 384,200. The arrested individuals and the seized evidence were transported to Kalilangan MPS for proper documentation and disposition. Meanwhile, the confiscated drug evidence will be submitted to the Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.
Charges for violating Section 5 and Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspects.
