KALILANGAN, Bukidnon – A 24-year-old male identified as a high-value individual was arrested in a successful anti-drug operation conducted by law enforcement authorities in Purok 1, Barangay Lampanusan, Kalilangan on Sunday.
Personnel of the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station, led by Officer-in-Charge PCPT Romeo M. Arcilla Jr., carried out the buy-bust operation in coordination with the Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), the 1004th Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 (RMFB-10), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 10 (PDEA-10).
The operation resulted in the confiscation of approximately 77.10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱524,280.00.
The arrested individual and the seized items were brought to the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition. The evidence will also be subjected to qualitative and quantitative examination by the Provincial Forensic Unit.
Charges for violation of Sections 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) under Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, have been prepared against the suspect.
