CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has forecast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms across Mindanao today, November 12, due to localized thunderstorms. While fair weather will generally prevail during the day, residents are advised to stay alert for possible flash floods or landslides, particularly in areas prone to severe thunderstorms.

According to PAGASA’s Mindanao Regional Services Division (MINPRSD) based in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, Severe Tropical Storm Fung-Wong (international name, code 2526) remains outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. Although Fung-Wong poses no direct threat to the country, its outer circulation continues to enhance localized weather disturbances, especially in the southern regions.
