Issued: November 11, 2025 | 5:00 AM | Mindanao Regional Forecast
Mindanao residents can expect generally fair weather conditions on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, though isolated rain showers and thunderstorms may occur in several areas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported in its latest regional forecast issued at 5:00 AM.
As of 3:00 AM today, the center of Typhoon “Uwan” (international name: Fung-Wong) was estimated to be 290 kilometers west-northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, or 355 kilometers west of Calayan, Cagayan, already outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). The typhoon packs maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kilometers per hour, moving northward at 15 km/h.
While “Uwan” no longer directly affects the country, localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers across Mindanao. PAGASA cautioned residents against possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
