Mindanao residents are advised to brace for partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms throughout the day, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) – Mindanao Regional Services Division (MINPRSD).

The state weather bureau warned that localized thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides, especially in flood-prone and mountainous areas, as severe downpours could occur. Winds will generally be light to moderate, coming from the south to southwest, with seas expected to be slight to moderate, ranging from 0.6 to 1.0 meters.
