Mindanao residents are advised to prepare for intermittent rainshowers and thunderstorms as the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued its regional weather outlook valid from 5:00 p.m. today until 5:00 p.m. tomorrow, December 11.

According to the Mindanao PAGASA Regional Services Division (MINPRSD), the entire island will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms. While no widespread weather disturbance is affecting the region, PAGASA warns that severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides, especially in low-lying and mountainous areas.

Winds across Mindanao will be light to moderate from the Northeast to North, with slight to moderate seas ranging from 0.8 to 2.1 meters—conditions deemed manageable for most small vessels but still requiring caution for fisherfolk and travelers.
