KALILANGAN, BUKIDNON – A successful buy-bust operation conducted by joint law enforcement units in the early morning of October 17, 2025, led to the arrest of two suspected drug personalities, including a high-value individual, and the seizure of more than ₱686,000 worth of suspected shabu.

The operation, carried out at around 4:07 a.m. in Purok 4, Barangay West Poblacion, Kalilangan, was spearheaded by the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (MDEU) under PCPT Romeo M. Arcilla Jr., in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) supervised by PLTCOL Hope Mark L. Orbuida, the 1004th RMFB-10 led by PLT James Elsvet Arabejo, and PDEA Region 10.

Authorities identified the arrested suspects as alias “Vic-Vic,” 43, a businesswoman from Cluster C Extension, Landing, Malaybalay City, and alias “Sitoy,” 39, a car wash boy residing in Phase 3, Landing, Malaybalay City. Both were caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to an undercover agent.

Confiscated from the suspects were several sachets of suspected shabu weighing a total of 100.90 grams, with an estimated street value of ₱686,120.

The seized illegal drugs and the arrested individuals were brought to the Bukidnon Forensic Unit for laboratory examination and drug testing.

Authorities lauded the coordinated efforts of the police and PDEA units, emphasizing that the arrest of a high-value target marks another significant blow against the illegal drug trade in Bukidnon.
