CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City — A high-value individual (HVI) suspected of involvement in the illegal drug trade was arrested in a successful buy-bust operation conducted on May 11, 2025, at Purok 3, Barangay Kinura, Kalilangan, Bukidnon.

Personnel from the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10, carried out the operation that led to the arrest of the suspect, known by the alias “Rolly.” The 48-year-old, jobless resident of Barangay Conception, Pangantucan, Bukidnon, is now in police custody.

Authorities confiscated three heat-sealed sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, weighing approximately 100.8 grams and valued at around PHP 685,440. Also seized were a PHP 1,000 bill used as marked money, an additional PHP 100 bill, a Samsung Android cellphone, a Honda CRF 150 motorcycle, and other personal items.

The suspect and the confiscated evidence are currently under the custody of the Kalilangan Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and disposition.

Police Brigadier General Jaysen C. De Guzman, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10), lauded the successful operation and the collaborative efforts of the involved units.

“This operation reflects the strong cooperation and coordinated action of our police units. We are committed to ensuring that our communities are safe and free from the dangers posed by illegal drugs,” said De Guzman.

PRO10 also emphasized the vital role of community support in curbing the spread of illegal drugs and urged the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities in their areas.
