PRO10 Seizes P1.1M Worth of Shabu in One-Week Law Enforcement Operation, 114 Individuals Apprehended

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) continues to intensify its anti-criminality efforts in Northern Mindanao, yielding impressive results during a one-week law enforcement operation. From September 12 to 18, 2024, PRO10 successfully apprehended 114 individuals and confiscated over PHP 1.1 million worth of illegal drugs.

In the anti-illegal drug campaign, PRO10 conducted 47 operations, which led to the arrest of 57 individuals and the confiscation of 173.751 grams of shabu and 5.4 grams of marijuana, with an overall Standard Drug Price of PHP 1,182,154.80.

In the fight against illegal gambling, four operations were conducted, resulting in the apprehension of four individuals and the confiscation of PHP 1,230.00 worth of illegal gambling items.

In efforts to neutralize wanted persons, PRO10 apprehended 50 wanted individuals, including five Most Wanted Persons and 45 Other Wanted Persons.

In the campaign against loose firearms (Kontra Boga), PRO10 conducted six operations, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the confiscation, surrender, or recovery of seven small arms. Approximately 428 house visitations for Revitalized Katok (Bilang Boga) were conducted, resulting in the voluntary surrender of two firearms for safekeeping.

PBGEN Ricardo G. Layug, Jr., Regional Director of PRO10, commended the men and women of PRO10 for their unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and order in the region. “Patuloy po ang ating kapulisan, kasama ang iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno, sa pagsugpo ng kriminalidad. Hindi po tayo titigil hangga’t hindi natin naaaresto ang mga lumalabag sa batas. Magtulungan po tayo upang mapanatili ang kaayusan at kapayapaan sa Hilagang Mindanao,” he said.
