On September 7, 2024, the Centrist Democratic Party of the Philippines (CDP) Cagayan de Oro City Chapter held its Chapter Convention at the USTP Gymnasium. The event was presided over by Cong. Rufus Rodriguez, CDP National President, and Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez, CDP CdeO Chapter Chairperson.
The convention saw an impressive turnout of 4,000 dues-paying members from all eighty barangays of Cagayan de Oro City. Key highlights included the election of new CDP CdeO Chapter officers and the proclamation of the party’s official candidates for the 2025 elections.
