TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte — A 25-year-old man was wounded in a shooting incident while visiting his girlfriend at a rented room in Barangay Magugpo West, Tagum City, at around 3 a.m. on October 29, 2026.

The victim, identified only by the alias “Joseph,” a resident of Barangay Magdum, sustained gunshot wounds to his left thigh and left hand. He was immediately transported by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) Rescue Team to the Davao Regional Medical Center (DRMC) for medical treatment.
