Davao City, December 9, 2024 – A high-value individual (HVI) identified as “Joel Moklo” was apprehended during the successful implementation of a search warrant at Purok Sto. Niño, Brgy. Leon Garcia, Davao City. The operation, led by Sta. Ana Police Station (PS1) and the City Mobile Force Company (CMFC), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), resulted in the confiscation of illegal drugs and firearms.

Authorities recovered seven heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, valued at PHP 171,836. Additionally, drug paraphernalia, one blade, an improvised revolver without a serial number, and two M16 rifle bullets were seized from the suspect’s possession.

The suspect is now under custody, with charges being prepared for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) and the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition (RA 10591).

PBGEN Leon Victor Z. Rosete, Regional Director of Police Regional Office (PRO) 11, commended the Sta. Ana Police Station, Davao City Police Office (DCPO), CMFC, and PDEA for their coordinated efforts in executing the operation. “This achievement reflects PRO 11’s steadfast commitment to eliminating illegal drugs and ensuring public safety,” said Rosete.
