VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — Authorities arrested two women from Lanao del Sur in a successful buy-bust operation conducted in Purok 3, Barangay Lumbo, Valencia City, on November 9, 2025.
The suspects, identified only as alias Jam, 20, a housewife from Magampong Park Area, Wao, Lanao del Sur, and alias Jal, 30, a farmer from Amai Manabilang, Lanao del Sur, were apprehended during an anti-drug operation led by the Bukidnon Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (BUK-PDEU). The operation was carried out in coordination with the Valencia City Police Station and with support from the City Anti-Drugs Special Unit Team (CADSUT) under the Office of the City Mayor.
Authorities said the buy-bust was conducted under PDEA Pre-Operations No. 11-00-11092025-021. Confiscated from the suspects were several sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱241,400.
The two are now under the custody of the Valencia City Police Station for proper disposition and the filing of appropriate charges.
The operation forms part of the city’s ongoing intensified campaign against illegal drugs, fully supported by the local government under Mayor Amie Galario and the 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod headed by Vice Mayor Greizl Galario-Fernandez.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to keeping Valencia City a drug-free and safe community through sustained coordination between law enforcement and local officials.
