BUKIDNON, Philippines — Authorities seized an estimated ₱114,376 worth of suspected shabu and arrested six individuals, including a 17-year-old student, in a series of anti-drug buy-bust operations conducted across Bukidnon in recent days.

The operations, carried out in Valencia City, Don Carlos, and Impasugong, were part of the intensified anti-illegal drug campaign of the Philippine National Police in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Three suspected drug personalities identified only by their aliases “Bonbon,” “Lungkoy,” and “Piano” were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted on the evening of May 21, 2026, in Purok 1B, Kawayanon, Barangay Lumbo, Valencia City.

The operation was led by the Valencia City Police Station under the supervision of PMAJ Guy R. Pacamo, together with various anti-drug units and in coordination with PDEA.

Authorities confiscated six sachets of suspected shabu weighing more than 6.5 grams with an estimated standard drug price of ₱44,200. Also recovered during the operation were marked money, a plastic pouch believed to contain illegal drugs, and a Realme cellphone.

In a separate operation in Purok 8, Barangay Kibatang, Don Carlos, Bukidnon, authorities arrested alias “Kiking,” a suspected drug personality reportedly included in the drug watchlist.

The operation, conducted on May 21, was spearheaded by the Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit of the Don Carlos Municipal Police Station under PMAJ Al-Nico R. Haman, with the assistance of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Bukidnon Police Provincial Office and the Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit, in coordination with PDEA.

Recovered from the suspect were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing more than 4.10 grams with an estimated street value of ₱27,880. Authorities also seized marked money, a metal canister allegedly used to store illegal drugs, and a cellphone.

Meanwhile, another suspected drug personality identified as alias “Gabriel,” 38 years old, was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted on the morning of May 24 in Purok 9, Barangay Poblacion, Impasugong, Bukidnon.

The operation was led by the Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit of the Impasugong Municipal Police Station with the support of the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company of the Bukidnon Police Provincial Office and in coordination with PDEA.

Authorities recovered 14 sachets of suspected shabu weighing more than 1.12 grams with an estimated value of ₱7,616. Also confiscated were marked money, a Samsung Android cellphone, a Euro motorcycle without a plate number and documents, and several drug paraphernalia.

In another operation conducted on the evening of May 25 in Purok 2, Barangay Guinoyoran, Valencia City, authorities arrested a 17-year-old student after allegedly being caught selling illegal drugs.

The buy-bust operation was led by the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Valencia City Police Station under PLT Christopher R. Ibañez, together with various anti-drug units and PDEA Bukidnon.

Seized during the operation were two sachets of suspected shabu weighing more than 5.1 grams with an estimated standard drug price of ₱34,680. Authorities also recovered marked money, a black coin purse believed to contain illegal drugs, and a Realme cellphone.

All arrested suspects are now under police custody and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while the minor suspect will be subjected to proper legal procedures in accordance with existing laws concerning children in conflict with the law.

Police authorities reiterated their commitment to intensify anti-drug operations across Bukidnon as part of efforts to curb the proliferation of illegal drugs in local communities.
