VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — Police authorities seized a combined 32.2 grams of suspected shabu worth an estimated ₱218,960 and arrested three alleged street-level drug personalities in two separate buy-bust operations conducted in Valencia City, Bukidnon, on October 6, 2026.

The operations, carried out separately in Barangays Lumbo and Bagontaas, resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the confiscation of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu.
Police identified the suspects only by their aliases as “Edwin,” 36; “Renalyn,” 46; and “Ailyn,” 39, pending the filing of appropriate cases and further legal proceedings.
25.9 Grams Seized in Barangay Lumbo
The first operation was conducted at Purok 3, Barangay Lumbo, where police arrested Edwin and Renalyn.
Authorities said the two suspects were allegedly caught in possession of approximately 25.9 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱176,120.
The operation was led by personnel of the Bukidnon Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (BPDEU), with support from the Valencia City Police Station, 1st Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company, City Anti-Drug Special Operations Unit (CADSUT), and Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit.
The operation was conducted in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Another Suspect Arrested in Barangay Bagontaas
A separate buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagontaas resulted in the arrest of Ailyn, 39.
Police said the operation led to the recovery of approximately 6.3 grams of suspected shabu, estimated to be worth ₱42,840.
The two operations brought the total quantity of suspected shabu seized by police to 32.2 grams, with a combined estimated value of ₱218,960.
The seized substance will be subjected to the appropriate examination and documentation as part of the investigation and case proceedings.
Suspects in Police Custody
The three suspects are currently under the custody of the Valencia City Police Station for proper disposition and the filing of appropriate charges.
Police authorities did not provide further details on the specific criminal charges that will be filed, pending the completion of the required documentation and investigation.
Bukidnon Police Provincial Director PCOL Oliver Sotto Navales commended the police personnel and participating units for the successful operations.
Navales also urged residents to continue cooperating with law enforcement authorities in the campaign against illegal drugs and other criminal activities.
The operations form part of the intensified anti-illegal drug campaign being implemented by the Police Regional Office 10, under the direction of Regional Director PBGEN Nestor C. Babagay Jr.
Police authorities reiterated their call for community cooperation, emphasizing the importance of public participation in keeping communities peaceful, safe, and free from illegal drugs.
The suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
