VALENCIA CITY / PANGANTUCAN, Bukidnon — Three suspected drug personalities were arrested in separate buy-bust operations conducted across Bukidnon from April 16 to 21, 2026, resulting in the confiscation of nearly ₱240,000 worth of suspected shabu, authorities reported.

In Valencia City, operatives of the Valencia City Police Station (CPS), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and multiple law enforcement units, arrested a 26-year-old suspect identified only by the alias “Kulot” during an operation in Purok 10, Barangay Barobo on the evening of April 21.
Recovered from the suspect were approximately 4.2 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of ₱28,560. Authorities also seized three sachets of the illegal substance, a marked ₱1,000 bill used in the operation, a plastic container, and a cellphone.
Just days earlier, on April 18, another 26-year-old suspect known as “Abel” was apprehended in a separate buy-bust operation in Purok 2, Barangay Pinatilan, also in Valencia City.
The joint operation, carried out by Valencia CPS alongside the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit-10 (RPDEU-10), 1003rd Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 (RMFB-10), Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Misamis Oriental Maritime Police Station, CADSUT, and the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), led to the seizure of around 25.6 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱174,080.
Authorities also recovered seven sachets of suspected shabu, a marked ₱1,000 bill, a coin purse, a cellphone, and a motorcycle believed to have been used in the suspect’s illegal activities.
Meanwhile, in Pangantucan town, a 47-year-old suspect identified by the alias “Weng-Weng” was arrested on April 16 in Purok 3, Barangay Nabaliwa during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Pangantucan Municipal Police Station (MPS), in coordination with the 2nd PMFC Bukidnon, 1003rd MC RMFB-10, PIU, and PDEA.
Seized from the suspect were approximately 5.17 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱35,156, along with two sachets of the illegal drug, a marked ₱1,000 bill, and a cellphone.
All three suspects are now under police custody and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to intensifying anti-drug operations across Bukidnon, emphasizing the importance of inter-agency coordination in curbing the illegal drug trade in the province.
