NABUNTURAN, Davao de Oro (June 21, 2025) — A buy-bust operation conducted by the Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office, through the Nabunturan Municipal Police Station, led to the arrest of a suspected drug peddler in Barangay Manat.
Authorities identified the suspect only by the alias “Inday,” a resident of the said barangay. She was apprehended after allegedly selling a substance believed to be shabu to a poseur-buyer during the police operation.
Recovered from the suspect were one (1) P1,000 bill used as marked buy-bust money, one (1) OPPO mobile phone, and several heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, including the one used in the transaction.
Police secured the area and ensured that all procedures were conducted in compliance with legal protocols. The suspect is currently under police custody while investigation and documentation are ongoing.
In a statement, the Davao de Oro Police reiterated their commitment to intensify anti-drug efforts in the province and urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious drug-related activities in their communities.
