In a remarkable breakthrough, the Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office (PPO) has struck a significant blow against illegal drug operations within the province. A series of coordinated operations across Compostela, Nabunturan, Monkayo, and New Bataan led to the arrest of four drug personalities and the confiscation of illegal drugs valued at approximately PHP 253,800.
The largest haul took place in Compostela, where authorities seized 2,000 grams of marijuana and 0.2 grams of shabu, collectively valued at PHP 241,360. Meanwhile, in Nabunturan, an operation led to the seizure of 1 gram of shabu, estimated to be worth PHP 6,800. In Monkayo, 0.8 grams of shabu, valued at PHP 5,440, were confiscated. Efforts in New Bataan culminated in the successful uprooting of a marijuana plant, underscoring the comprehensive approach taken by the PPO to target drug sources across the province.
The Davao de Oro PPO’s actions reflect a strong commitment to creating a drug-free environment and enhancing the safety and security of the local community.
