CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – A total of 30 individuals were apprehended during a series of anti-drug operations conducted by the Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) from March 7 to 9, 2025, across Northern Mindanao.
The intensified campaign led to 25 operations that resulted in the confiscation of 312.485 grams of shabu, valued at an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PhP2,124,898.00.
Among those arrested were a father and son, identified only by their aliases as “Ogis,” 40, and “JR,” 18. Both were newly identified drug suspects and were captured in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Tagoloan Municipal Police Station (MPS) at Zone 3, Baluarte, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, on March 7. The operation yielded 13 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, weighing 150 grams, with an SDP of PhP1,020,000.00.
In a separate buy-bust operation, operatives of the Kalilangan MPS arrested two drug suspects at Central Poblacion, Kalilangan, Bukidnon, on the same day. The suspects, identified as alias “Takoy,” a 43-year-old high-value individual (HVI) and a second-time offender, and alias “Lex,” a 42-year-old newly identified suspect, were found in possession of three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 56 grams, with an SDP of PhP384,200.00.
All arrested individuals are now under the custodial facility for proper legal disposition.
PBGEN Jaysen C. De Guzman, Regional Director of PRO10, commended the relentless efforts of the operating units and underscored the significance of continuous law enforcement actions against illegal drugs.
“Our intensified operations are a testament to our commitment to eradicating illegal drugs in Northern Mindanao. We will continue to reinforce our anti-drug campaign to ensure a safer and drug-free community,” he stated.
Authorities continue to urge the public to support the government’s anti-drug campaign by reporting any suspected illegal drug activities to law enforcement agencies.
