Guinsiliban, Camiguin – Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office X (PDEA RO-X) Camiguin Provincial Office, with support from PDEA RO-X Misamis Oriental Provincial Office and Guinsiliban Municipal Police Station, successfully apprehended a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation on February 22, 2025.
The suspect, identified only as alias Junry, 41, was arrested during the operation in Guinsiliban town. Authorities seized 0.36 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of Php2,448.
Junry is now facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The suspect is currently in police custody pending further legal proceedings.
Law enforcement agencies continue their intensified campaign against illegal drugs, urging the public to cooperate and report any suspicious activities to help maintain peace and order in the province.
