DAVAO CITY – A drug suspect, identified only as alias “Bai,” was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Ecoland Police Station early Tuesday morning, January 30.
The operation took place at around 1:30 a.m. in Purok 1, Hill Top, Barangay Langub, resulting in the apprehension of the 30-year-old suspect, who is a resident of Barangay 39-D.
Authorities seized more than 20 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱1.4 million.
Charges are now being prepared against the suspect, who is currently under police custody. The authorities continue their intensified campaign against illegal drugs in the city.
