Davao City — Davao City First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Zimmerman Duterte has tested negative in a hair follicle drug test conducted by Hi-Precision Diagnostics Center. The test, which used a hair sample collected on October 23, 2024, confirmed that Congressman Pulong showed no traces of illegal substances.
The examination, known as the “Hair 7 Drug Panel Test,” was performed at Omega Laboratories, a certified testing facility, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the results. The official certification, dated October 28, 2024, was issued by Hi-Precision Diagnostics.
Congressman Duterte’s decision to take the drug test follows Vice President Sara Duterte’s call for lawmakers and congressional candidates to undergo testing. This initiative aims to promote transparency in the government and ensure that leaders are free from illegal drug use.
Supporters of Congressman Duterte welcomed the negative result, viewing it as a reaffirmation of his commitment to the government’s anti-drug advocacy—a cause he has long championed as a public official.
