CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – The Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) has reported a successful crackdown on illegal drugs and crime during a three-day Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) conducted from October 25 to 27, 2024. The operation resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs valued at over P1.3 million and the arrest of 172 individuals across the region.
During the enforcement of search warrants under Republic Act No. 9165, which pertains to the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, PRO10 executed three operations, leading to the arrest of three suspects and the confiscation of 15.2 grams of shabu, with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P103,360.
In addition, PRO10 successfully carried out 31 buy-bust operations, resulting in the apprehension of 36 drug suspects and the seizure of 197.9045 grams of shabu valued at P1,345,750.60. Other police actions included 49 separate operations that led to the arrest of 14 individuals and the confiscation of 5.15 grams of shabu worth P35,020, as well as 47 small arms and four explosives.
The campaign against illegal gambling was also notable, with 16 operations resulting in the arrest of 20 suspects and the confiscation of P5,505 in bet money. In a broader effort to apprehend wanted persons, authorities arrested 99 individuals, including 22 classified as most wanted.

DE GUZMAN, Acting Regional Director of PRO10, commended the efforts of his team, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining peace and order in the region. “We will continue to intensify our efforts against crime to ensure the safety of every community in Region 10. I encourage everyone to unite and collaborate, as this fight is not just for a few, but for each and every one of us,” he stated.
The successful SACLEO operation highlights PRO10’s dedication to combating illegal activities and enhancing public safety across Cagayan de Oro City and the surrounding areas.
