According to initial reports, passerby Cedrick Amplayo heard a baby crying while walking through the cemetery on his way to work. Concerned by the sound, he promptly alerted his neighbor, Jomar Lorejo, whose mother quickly brought the infant to a local health facility for medical examination.
The baby was reported to be in safe condition and receiving medical attention following the discovery. However, authorities have yet to establish the circumstances surrounding the infant’s presence inside the cemetery, including how long the baby had been there and who had brought the child to the location.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities seek information that could help identify those responsible for the infant’s care and clarify what happened before the discovery.
Authorities have not yet released further details about the infant’s medical condition or the identity of the parents.
