Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido, Davao City – On October 18, 2024, a successful drug buy-bust operation was conducted at Alley 12, South San Juan, Barangay Centro, Agdao, Davao City, leading to the arrest of a high-value drug personality known as “Den-Den.” Authorities confiscated suspected shabu with an estimated street value of Php 148,648.00.
Recovered during the operation were several heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one genuine Php 1,000 bill, four Php 1,000 machine-copied counterfeit bills, and a coin purse.
The suspect is now in the custody of Sta. Ana Police Station (PS 1), under the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), where proper legal proceedings and charges are being prepared.
The arrest of “Den-Den” marks another significant success in the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) intensified campaign against illegal drugs in the Davao Region. The series of arrests involving high-value drug personalities demonstrates PRO 11’s unwavering commitment to curbing the proliferation of illegal drugs and ensuring a safer community.
