Muslim Orphans Receive Financial Aid and School Supplies in a Meaningful Outreach

In a heartwarming gesture aimed at supporting the education of orphaned children, the provincial government distributed financial assistance and school supplies to Muslim orphans across the province.

A total of 150 children benefited from the initiative, which is designed to help ease the financial burdens of families and ensure the children have the necessary support for their education. The recipients came from various areas in the province, including Banaybanay (30 children), Lupon (22 children), Tarragona (25 children), and Mati City (73 children).

The program was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children (PCPC), and the Center for Muslim Welfare Services Incorporated (CMWSI). It aims to reduce the financial strain on families and ensure that the children can continue their schooling with full support.

Governor Niño Uy, who led the distribution of assistance, expressed his joy and dedication to prioritizing every sector of society, despite budget limitations. “I am pleased that even in the face of challenges, our programs continue. We ensure that our services are not interrupted, and we expand our reach to all sectors of society,” Gov. Uy said.

The children’s smiles and expressions of gratitude reflected their appreciation and hope as they received the aid, a significant effort by the provincial government to ensure these young individuals have a brighter future through education.
