TUBOD, Lanao del Norte — Two suspected drug pushers were arrested by authorities after more than ₱882,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated during a buy-bust operation conducted late Monday afternoon, April 13, 2026, in this municipality.

Operatives of the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group carried out the anti-drug operation at around 5:40 p.m. in Purok La Purisima, Barangay Tubod, leading to the arrest of the suspects identified only by their aliases “Danly” and “Noel.”
According to police reports, the operation initially resulted in the seizure of a large packet of suspected shabu weighing approximately 23.6 grams, which was allegedly sold by the suspects to an undercover poseur-buyer.
A subsequent inspection led to the discovery of another large package containing around 106.2 grams of suspected shabu.
In total, authorities recovered about 129.8 grams of the illegal substance, with an estimated street value of ₱882,640.
Investigators said the two suspects reportedly admitted their involvement in the illegal drug trade, including selling prohibited substances in the area.
The suspects are currently under the custody of the PDEG as authorities prepare to file charges against them for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Police officials reiterated their commitment to intensifying anti-drug operations across the region, emphasizing that efforts to dismantle local drug networks remain a top priority.
