Iligan City, 29 January 2026 — Authorities recovered 55 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P374,000, from a house in Purok 6, Barangay Saray, Iligan City.
The seizure was made during the execution of a search warrant issued by the court, allowing the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) to conduct a raid on the residence of a suspect identified as alias “Mark.” The operation took place on the morning of January 28, 2026.
The suspect is currently detained at Police Station 5 and is scheduled to be brought to the Hall of Justice, where formal charges will be filed against him.
Authorities emphasized that operations like this are part of ongoing efforts to curb the illegal drug trade in Iligan and surrounding areas.
