VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — Four individuals were arrested in two separate buy-bust operations conducted in Valencia City on January 24, 2026, as part of the local government’s continuing and stringent campaign against illegal drugs. The combined estimated value of the confiscated drugs is Php 111,520.


In the first operation at Purok 11, Barangay Mailag at 6:02 p.m., authorities arrested “Binsoy,” 42, and “Melanie,” 43, both married residents of the barangay. The seized illegal drugs were estimated to be worth Php 55,080.
The operation was carried out under PDEA Pre-Operation No. 11-00-01242026-030, led by the Valencia City Police Station with support from multiple law enforcement and government units, including RPDEU 10, RMFB 10, 2nd PMFC Bukidnon PPO, PDEA Region 10, City Anti-Drugs Special Unit Team (CADSUT), and the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) Bukidnon. An inventory of the confiscated items was conducted in the presence of authorized witnesses, including a Barangay Mailag official and a media representative.
In the second operation at Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion at 2:36 p.m., police apprehended “Buddy,” 25, and “Patrick,” 19, both single residents of the area. The recovered illegal drugs were estimated at Php 56,440. This operation was conducted under PDEA Pre-Operation No. 11-00-01242026-015, with Valencia City Police Station as the lead unit, supported by CADSUT and PIU Bukidnon.
All arrested individuals are now in police custody pending proper legal proceedings.
