VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — Anti-drug operatives arrested three suspected drug personalities and seized more than ₱125,000 worth of suspected shabu in two separate buy-bust operations conducted on March 13, 2026, in Valencia City, Bukidnon.

The operations were jointly carried out by the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Valencia City Police Station (VCPS) under the direct supervision of Police Major Guy R. Pacamo, officer-in-charge, in coordination with the City Anti-Drugs Special Unit Team (CADSUT) under the Office of the City Mayor. The operation was also supported by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) 10, the 1003rd Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 (RMFB10), the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), the Bukidnon Police Provincial Office (BUKPPO), the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 10 Bukidnon, and the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) of the Bukidnon PPO.

Authorities said the first operation was conducted at around 4:27 p.m. in Purok 4, Barangay Poblacion, Valencia City. The operation resulted in the arrest of two suspects identified only by their aliases “Mar” or “Norham,” 25, single, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Pagalungan, Maguindanao del Sur, and “Delmar,” 24, single, a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Fort, Pikit, North Cotabato.

Operatives seized several sachets of suspected shabu with a total standard drug price estimated at ₱82,280.

Later that evening, at about 8:54 p.m., another buy-bust operation was carried out in Purok 5, Barangay Lumbo, Valencia City, leading to the arrest of a third suspect identified by the alias “Miyang,” an 18-year-old male who is single, unemployed, and a resident of Damalasak, Pikit, North Cotabato.

Authorities recovered suspected shabu from the suspect with a total estimated standard drug price of ₱42,840.

Police said the arrested suspects and the confiscated drug and non-drug evidence were brought to the Valencia City Police Station for proper documentation and disposition.

The seized drug evidence will be turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit of the Philippine National Police in Malaybalay City for laboratory examination.

Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are currently being prepared for filing in court against the arrested suspects.

Police authorities reiterated their commitment to intensify anti-illegal drug operations in Valencia City and neighboring areas as part of the government’s continuing campaign against illegal drugs.
