EL SALVADOR CITY, Misamis Oriental — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is advising Mindanao residents to prepare for a day of partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, based on the 5:00 AM regional forecast issued Sunday, November 30, 2025.

According to PAGASA-MINPRSD, localized thunderstorms remain the main driver of weather conditions across Mindanao, bringing the possibility of sudden heavy downpours, flash floods, and landslides, especially during severe storms. Winds will be light to moderate from the northeast to north, while coastal waters across the island will be slight to moderate, with wave heights ranging from 0.6 to 2.1 meters.

Zamboanga Peninsula: Warm Day With Scattered Rain

Zamboanga City and the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, and Isabela City can expect partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms throughout the day and into the night.
Daytime temperatures will hover around 25°C to 34°C, slightly cooling to 25°C to 31°C by evening.

Northern Mindanao: Partly Cloudy With Localized Storms

Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, and Misamis Oriental will experience the same weather pattern—generally fair weather in the morning, turning cloudy at times with potential rainshowers or thunderstorms by afternoon or evening.
Temperatures will range from 22°C to 32°C during the day and may drop slightly at night.

Davao Region: Isolated Thunderstorms Across Provinces

Metro Davao, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, and Davao Occidental are all forecast to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms.
Maximum temperatures could reach 34°C, while coastal waters remain slight to moderate under light to moderate northeasterly to northern winds.

SOCCSKSARGEN: Hot and Humid With Thunderstorm Risks

In North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Sarangani, residents should anticipate a hot midday environment, with temperatures peaking at 34°C to 35°C. Localized thunderstorms remain likely, especially in the afternoon and evening.

Caraga Region: Fair Weather with Occasional Downpours

Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and the Dinagat Islands will have partly cloudy skies to at times cloudy conditions with scattered thunderstorms.
Coastal conditions will be slightly to moderately rough as winds blow from the northeast to north.

BARMM: Warm Weather With Isolated Rains

Cotabato City, Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Maguindanao del Norte, and Maguindanao del Sur will all experience generally fair weather punctuated by isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Temperatures will range from 21°C in upland Lanao del Sur to 33°C in lowland and coastal areas.
