EL SALVADOR CITY, MISAMIS ORIENTAL — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasts generally fair weather across Mindanao this Sunday, October 12, 2025, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies expected over most areas. However, isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are possible throughout the day due to the influence of the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
According to PAGASA’s Mindanao Regional Services Division (MINPRSD) 5:00 AM bulletin, the Caraga and Davao Regions will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought by the Easterlies, while the rest of Mindanao may have similar conditions caused by localized thunderstorms. The agency cautions residents, especially in flood-prone and landslide-prone areas, to remain alert for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Winds across the island are forecast to be light to moderate, blowing from the east to northeast, with coastal waters ranging from slight to moderate—around 0.6 to 1.5 meters in height.
