Valencia City, Bukidnon – A 44-year-old mechanic was arrested in a joint buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of over P104,000 worth of illegal drugs in Barangay Lumbo early Wednesday morning, September 3, 2025.

The suspect, identified as Leonard Percy Pedro, a resident of Purok 9, Barangay Lumbo, was collared around 3:49 a.m. in an operation conducted by the Valencia City Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Unit under the supervision of PLTCOL Bryan Mesa Panganiban, in coordination with the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 10, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bukidnon, and the Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit.

Authorities seized illegal drugs with an estimated standard drug price of ₱104,720 during the operation.

Pedro, described as a newly identified drug personality, was apprehended while transacting with an undercover operative. He is currently under police custody and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Police said the operation forms part of the intensified anti-drug campaign in the region.
