CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – The Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) successfully apprehended 247 individuals during its weeklong law enforcement operations conducted from February 20 to 26, 2025.
As part of its intensified anti-illegal drug campaign, PRO10 executed 73 operations, leading to the arrest of 87 individuals and the confiscation of 547.645 grams of shabu. The seized illegal drugs have an estimated Standard Drug Price of PhP3,724,046.00.
In the crackdown against illegal gambling, authorities carried out 29 operations, resulting in the arrest of 44 individuals and the confiscation of PhP13,217.00 worth of gambling paraphernalia.
Efforts to apprehend fugitives also yielded significant results, with 66 wanted individuals taken into custody. Among them were 12 Most Wanted Persons and 54 Other Wanted Persons.
Under the campaign against loose firearms, also known as “Kontra Boga,” PRO10 conducted five operations, leading to the arrest of 15 individuals. A total of 12 small arms were confiscated, surrendered, or recovered. Additionally, 341 house visitations were conducted under the Revitalized Katok (Bilang Boga) initiative, resulting in the voluntary surrender of four firearms for safekeeping.
In its ongoing battle against smuggling, PRO10 successfully carried out an operation that led to the confiscation of PhP15,000.00 worth of smuggled cigarettes.
PRO10 Regional Director PBGEN Jaysen C. De Guzman commended the police force for their dedication and successful operations.
“These accomplishments demonstrate our commitment to reducing criminal activities and safeguarding our communities from illegal drugs, loose firearms, and other threats to peace and order,” he said.
He also urged the public to continue supporting law enforcement efforts by providing relevant information that could help prevent and resolve crimes.
