CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City — Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) showcased its commitment to public safety and security during a three-day Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) held from December 20 to 22, 2024.
A total of 114 individuals were apprehended during the operations, which targeted various criminal activities across the region. The anti-drug campaign saw significant success, with PRO10 conducting two operations under R.A. No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and one under R.A. No. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). These efforts led to the arrest of three individuals, the seizure of 1.008 grams of shabu worth PHP 6,854.40, and the confiscation of one small arm.
Key Achievements of SACLEO
- Buy-Bust Operations: PRO10 conducted 37 successful buy-bust operations, resulting in the arrest of 41 drug suspects and the confiscation of 107.4 grams of shabu and 1,211 grams of marijuana with a combined Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PHP 875,640.00.
- Other Anti-Drug Operations: The regional police conducted 35 additional anti-drug operations, which led to the arrest of nine individuals and the confiscation of 3.5 grams of shabu worth PHP 23,800.00, alongside the seizure of 27 small arms and one explosive device.
- Anti-Illegal Gambling Operations: In its campaign against illegal gambling, PRO10 carried out 10 operations, apprehending 16 individuals and recovering PHP 1,678.00 in bet money.
- Arrest of Wanted Persons: The operations also led to the capture of 45 wanted individuals, including one most wanted person and 44 other wanted persons.
