The Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Police Office (ZSBPPO) continues to make significant strides in its ongoing campaign against loose firearms, reinforcing its commitment to public safety and peaceful elections. In a commendable move, an elected official from Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay, voluntarily surrendered an unrenewed Caliber 9MM Ingram Pistol to the Naga Municipal Police Station, setting an example of responsible gun ownership.

“We are grateful for the cooperation of this elected official and encourage others to follow his lead,” said PCOL Dasugo. “Our commitment to creating a safe and secure environment for our community is unwavering, and responsible gun ownership is a vital part of achieving this goal.”
With the election period underway, the ZSBPPO is intensifying its crackdown on loose firearms to ensure the safe and peaceful conduct of the polls. Authorities urge all firearm holders to comply with legal requirements and contribute to efforts aimed at fostering a secure Zamboanga Sibugay.
