VALENCIA CITY — In a decisive move against illegal drug activities, personnel from the Valencia City Police Station, under the leadership of PLTCOL Bryan M. Panganiban, conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of a high-value individual (HVI) identified as alias Paolo. The 40-year-old male suspect was apprehended on charges of drug possession and distribution.
During the operation, authorities seized a total of 5.1 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of Php 34,680.00. Additionally, 2 grams of marijuana, valued at Php 240.00, were confiscated. The suspect’s arrest is seen as a significant blow to the local illegal drug trade.
In his statement, PCol Jovit Culaway commended the efforts of the operating team. “I commend the operating units for their outstanding efforts. Let us continue our relentless efforts to combat criminality and illegal drug operations, aiming to create a safer environment for the people of Bukidnon,” he said.
The Valencia City Police Station emphasized its commitment to maintaining public safety and eradicating illegal drug activities in the region. The arrested suspect will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Further investigations are underway to uncover potential links to larger drug networks.
