Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) has achieved significant milestones in its first 100 days under the leadership of Regional Director, PBGEN JAYSEN C DE GUZMAN. Spanning from September 26, 2024, to January 4, 2025, PRO10’s intensified law enforcement operations across Northern Mindanao resulted in substantial accomplishments in public safety and crime prevention.

Landmark Achievements:

Campaign Against Illegal Drugs:

  • 683 Operations Conducted: PRO10 intensified its fight against illegal drugs, resulting in the arrest of 842 individuals.
  • Drugs Seized: Authorities confiscated approximately 5,676.365 grams of shabu and 1,254.850 grams of marijuana, with an estimated total Standard Drug Price of PhP38,876,888.00.

Anti-Illegal Gambling Efforts:

  • 241 Operations Conducted: These resulted in the arrest of 312 individuals and the confiscation of PhP107,417.00 worth of illegal gambling items.

Pursuit of Wanted Persons:

  • 985 Wanted Persons Arrested: Among those apprehended, 170 were classified as Most Wanted Persons and 815 as Other Wanted Persons.

Battle Against Loose Firearms (Kontra Boga):

  • 151 Operations Conducted: These efforts led to the arrest of 68 individuals and the confiscation, surrender, or recovery of 241 small arms and three light weapons.
  • Revitalized Katok (Bilang Boga): Approximately 4,416 house visitations were carried out, resulting in the voluntary surrender of 146 firearms for safekeeping.

Anti-Smuggling Operations:

  • 44 Operations Conducted: These efforts resulted in the arrest of 53 individuals and the confiscation of smuggled cigarettes worth PhP58,636,515.00.

Crackdown on Illegal Mining:

  • 22 Operations Conducted: A total of 64 individuals were apprehended, and illegal mining paraphernalia worth PhP18,586,150.00 was seized.
