The town of Naawan emerged as the grand champion of the 12th Kuyamis Festival Dance Competition held on January 16, 2025, at the El Salvador City Sports Complex. This victory marked a significant achievement as Naawan triumphed over five other talented contingents from across Misamis Oriental.
At the heart of the festival was Kuyamis, a unique variety of golden-colored coconut, symbolizing the cultural richness of the region.
