Valencia City, Bukidnon — A regional priority drug personality was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by anti-narcotics operatives on December 6, 2024, in Poblacion, Valencia City.
The operation was a joint effort of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 10 Bukidnon Provincial Office, Valencia City Police Station (CPS), and the Regional Intelligence Unit Bukidnon Provincial Intelligence Team (RIU Bukidnon PIT).
The suspect, identified as Alias Reynan, a 39-year-old resident of Poblacion, was apprehended after selling suspected illegal drugs to an undercover operative. Authorities seized approximately six grams of suspected shabu with a Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of Php 40,800.
Investigators revealed that the suspect is a self-confessed “jump probee,” having violated probation conditions from a prior offense. He is currently detained at the PDEA RO-10 Regional Office detention facility while awaiting the filing of charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165).
PDEA reiterated its commitment to intensifying anti-drug campaigns and ensuring that Bukidnon becomes a drug-free province.
