P95K Worth of Shabu Seized in Bukidnon Entrapment Operation, Female Suspect Arrested

In a successful anti-drug operation, law enforcement officers from the Bukidnon Provincial Police Office – Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (BUKPPO-PDEU) and Valencia City Police Station arrested a newly identified female suspect during an entrapment operation in Purok 18, Cabanuangan, Poblacion, Valencia City.

The suspect, a 37-year-old woman, was apprehended in the buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of 14 grams of shabu (methamphetamine), valued at approximately PHP 95,200, based on standard drug pricing.

Police Colonel Culaway, the head of the operation, praised the involved units for their dedication. “I commend the operating units who successfully arrested an illegal drug suspect. Stay motivated to do your duties as law enforcers. Remember that your eminent efforts are always paired with great results. Keep up the good work!” said Culaway.

The arrested suspect is now facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Authorities continue to intensify their efforts to combat illegal drugs in the region, urging communities to cooperate with law enforcement in reporting illicit activities to ensure the safety and security of their areas.
