Davao de Oro, October 17, 2024 – Authorities in Davao de Oro successfully dismantled a drug den and confiscated illegal drugs worth Php 102,000 in a recent buy-bust operation conducted in the municipality of Mabini on October 16, 2024. The joint operation, spearheaded by the Mabini Municipal Police Station (MPS) alongside other law enforcement agencies, took place in Purok 7, Barangay San Antonio.
Several suspects were arrested at the scene, and drug paraphernalia were recovered, adding to the evidence against the individuals involved in the illegal drug trade.
In a separate operation in the town of Nabunturan, law enforcement officers confiscated shabu valued at Php 6,800, along with a small amount of marijuana weighing 0.1 grams.
These operations are part of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) ongoing and intensified efforts to combat the illegal drug trade in the province. The recent successes highlight the PNP’s commitment to maintaining peace and order in Davao de Oro, ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents.
