Davao de Oro, October 15, 2024 – In a well-coordinated buy-bust operation conducted on October 14, 2024, authorities arrested a suspected drug personality in Purok 2, Bajada, Brgy. Cadunan, Mabini, Davao de Oro. The operation was led by the Mabini Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PMAJ Churchillpablo B. Angog Jr., Chief of Police, along with other law enforcement units.
The suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, was apprehended for alleged violations of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, as well as Republic Act 10591, the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Confiscated during the operation were illegal drugs and firearms, which are now in the custody of the Mabini Police Station for proper documentation and further investigation. The authorities are expected to file appropriate charges against the suspect in the coming days as part of the ongoing crackdown on illegal drugs and weapons in the region.
