TAGOLOAN, Misamis Oriental – A drug suspect was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Tagoloan Municipal Police Station in Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, on September 23, 2024.
Police Captain Ralph Rexson L. Layug, Officer-In-Charge of Tagoloan MPS, identified the suspect as alias “Rick,” a 37-year-old, unmarried, unemployed resident of Sugbongcogon, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.
The buy-bust operation, carried out around 6:00 PM, resulted in the confiscation of 15 packets of suspected shabu weighing 30 grams, with a standard drug price of Php 204,000. Additionally, a Php 500 bill used as buy-bust money and other non-drug items were seized.
The suspect is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
