DAVAO CITY – A high-value individual was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Buhangin Police Station on Dela Peña Street, Barangay Cabantian, Buhangin, Davao City, on September 25, 2024.
Police Captain Pio M. Torrecampo, Officer-In-Charge of Buhangin Police Station, identified the suspect as alias “Torko,” a 31-year-old personnel of the City Traffic and Transport Management Office (CTTMO) and a resident of Barangay 6-A, Rasay Extension, Bankerohan, Davao City.
Recovered from the suspect were 6.66 grams of shabu with an estimated market value of Php 45,288. The suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, the Police Regional Office 11 continues to intensify its campaign against criminality in line with the Bagong Pilipinas initiative, aiming to maintain peace and order for the progress of the nation.
