Gingoog City – A 33-year-old man was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the police along Guanzon Street, Barangay 15, Gingoog City, at around 12:45 PM on March 5, 2025.
The operation was carried out by the Gingoog City Police Station (CPS) under the leadership of PCPT Larry P. Malagamba and the supervision of PLTCOL Dennis Gamolo De Los Santos. Authorities seized one sachet of suspected shabu as the buy-bust item, along with three additional sachets of the same illegal substance. Other confiscated items included a matchbox labeled “Commando,” a P500 buy-bust money, a pink beauty kit containing drug paraphernalia, and a BMX bicycle.
The total weight of the seized shabu amounted to 3.24 grams, with an estimated street value of P22,032 based on the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) valuation. The suspect is currently in police custody for appropriate legal proceedings.
Authorities continue to urge the public to support the anti-drug campaign to maintain peace and order in the community.
