GINGOOG CITY, Misamis Oriental — A street-level drug suspect was arrested after authorities seized approximately 23 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱156,400 during the implementation of a search warrant on the afternoon of December 16, 2025, in Purok 2, Barangay 18-A, this city.
The operation, carried out at around 4:30 p.m., was led by personnel of the Gingoog City Police Station, in coordination with the 1st Misamis Oriental Provincial Mobile Force Company and the 1001st Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10. The search was conducted in the presence of insulating witnesses, in strict compliance with Search Warrant No. SW-51-2025 for violations of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Police said the operation was conducted in close coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) under Pre-Operation Report No. 11-00-12162025-025, ensuring adherence to established anti-drug protocols.
During the search, authorities recovered four large square sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu.
The arrested individual and all seized evidence are now under the custody of the Gingoog City Police Station for proper documentation, laboratory examination, and the filing of appropriate criminal charges.
Law enforcement authorities reiterated their commitment to intensifying anti-illegal drug operations to curb the proliferation of dangerous drugs and maintain public safety in the city.
