January 18, 2025 – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reports that Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies today, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterly winds. These weather conditions pose risks of flash floods or landslides in areas affected by severe thunderstorms. Winds will be light to moderate from the east to northeast, with slight to moderate coastal waters, ranging from 0.6 to 3.0 meters in height.

- Laguindingan & Cagayan de Oro City
Temperatures range from 24-31°C during the day and dip to 24-29°C at night. Expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with possible rain showers or thunderstorms. Coastal waters remain slight to moderate. - Malaybalay City
With temperatures peaking at 32°C and cooling to 18°C at night, the city will also see partly cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorms. - Metro Davao & Tagum City
These areas will experience daytime temperatures of 26-34°C, dropping slightly at night to 26-31°C. Similar weather patterns of partly cloudy skies and occasional thunderstorms are expected. - Zamboanga City
Residents should prepare for high temperatures of 26-35°C during the day and cooler evenings of 26-31°C. Rain showers or thunderstorms may occur, particularly during the late afternoon or evening. - Surigao City & Butuan City
Daytime temperatures will range between 23-33°C for Butuan City and 25-31°C for Surigao City. Isolated rain showers remain possible. - Cotabato City & General Santos City
These southern cities can expect warm daytime temperatures reaching 34°C in Cotabato and 32°C in General Santos. Evening lows will range from 24-26°C. - Dipolog City
A maximum daytime temperature of 33°C and a nighttime low of 26°C are anticipated. Rain showers and thunderstorms are likely. - Marawi City & Iligan City
Cooler weather is forecast for these areas, with highs of 29-30°C during the day and lows of 20-23°C at night. - Pagadian City
With the warmest temperatures in Mindanao, Pagadian will reach up to 36°C. Cooler temperatures of 22°C are expected at night.
